Blog Setup

I had so much fun exploring blogger.com. This is a great way to give your opinion and thought on important issues. I started by setting up an account and browsing the icons and links. Once I set up my layout, I put in my personal information. After I finished adding my information, I posted my first blog. My first blog was about me: what I love, my "past", and my family. The only advice I have for my fellow classmates is to be patient. I started to get frustrated because I was not finding what I was looking for. I later realized that this is for fun therefore I took my time and played around with blogger.com.

This Is Me

Hi Everyone,
My name is Erika, I am going into my third year of college. I am 20 years old and live in Monrovia. IUPUI is my third school and Elementary Education is my third major. I was at USI for dental hygiene and left because was not happy in Evansville. Then my second year I was at UIndy in the nursing program, but transferred out after the fall semester. I didn't want to do nursing after seeing everything that I would actually have to do. So I ended up at IUPUI and it was the best decision that I have made. I am able to work and live at home free of charge! The main reason I decided to switch my major to elementary education is because I love children. I think it is a wonderful feeling when I teach a child and he/she understands and learns something new. As far as my past, I grew up being in beauty pageants and play soccer year around. I have gone to church my entire life. I love Jesus and he has helped me through every hard time in my life. I love my family, which includes my Dad, Mom, Zach (brother), Logan(brother), Molly(dog), and Oreo(dog). I enjoy being outside boating, and being with friends. I have a wonderful boyfriend and love him very much. I feel like I am an honest person and I am willing to put the extra effort into helping a child learn. I think that technology is a great way to help children strive and reach for there goals.
